HOMEHISTORYEXECUTIVE PROFILESPORTFOLIO & FORMSCONTACT

Barron Builders was founded in 1958 by George Barron Rush Sr.  He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1953 where he was one of the select Aggie Yell Leaders.  After college he went onto Seminary to become a Christian minister.  Upon leaving Seminary George turned his focus into building low-income housing for the needy in the areas surrounding Houston, Texas.  His ministry grew into a business and overtime George found himself needing trusted help.  In 1978 he took on a partner to further his small business even more, his son G. Barron Rush Jr.  Over the next 20 years their partnership would lead Barron Builders into the world of Management and Development. At that point Barron Builders transformed into Barron Builders & Management Company, BBMC

Twenty successful years later Barron Jr. decided to buy out his father's partnership so that George Sr. could retire in the hill-country of Texas.  Barron had done countless construction, development, and management deals since he started but he set the bar a notch higher in 1998 when he broke ground on his first of four Assisted Living facilities that he would own.  The Rosemont Assisted Living Communities became a vital part of the Barron Management portfolio and continue to this day to be Barron Rush's personal pride and joy.

In 2006 Barron invited his son Gerod Barron to become a part of the organization where Gerod had interned every summer since he was 13 years old.  After graduating from Texas A&M University Gerod went out on his own to become the youngest branch manager at the largest privately owned bank in the country.   After Gerod felt he had earned enough merit on his own he finally agreed to join the organization that the two generations before him had built.
